This is what I have been looking out to for the last week. Our home is an older home and this past fall our irrigation system decided not to work anymore. The previous owner had rigged some weird drip system throughout the yard and it wasn't very effected even when it did work. So, with Sacramento getting ready to add water meters, we decided it was time to to update and fix the yard. The sod goes in tomorrow and all should be done for the 4th of July. Yeah!
We are planting rosemary and lavender and citrus along the front walk. The Mediterranean type of plants should give it a nice clean look in front to greet guests.
